This CD is a tribute to my original inspiration, and the greatest master of classical guitar, Andres Segovia. I heard most of these songs as a young boy, and thought that if I could ever play them, life would be a breeze (I was wrong about that). In 1976 I played the last three pieces: Prelude, Balleto & Gigue, by Manuel Ponce, at the Academia Chigiana Masters Concert in Sienna, Italy and was awarded the Diploma of Merit.
